HOW TO WRITE A BRILLIANT ADVERT?

A brand name cannot communicate a message all on its own. Therefore, slogans have a key role in communicating the essence of a brand. 

We are going to start to look at creating adverts for some products. For your homework I would like you to begin to look at adverts, these maybe television adverts or printed adverts. What do you like about the adverts you find? What are they using to try to make you buy their product? Can you identify any slogans used in the adverts?

Here are some to get you started!

So, how to create catchy slogans?  Include the following features:

- rhetorical questions
- adjectives
- rhyming
- talking directly to audience
- humour
